My Work About Me Contact

The Mind Matters.

Branding and Marketing

Project Objective
Research, conceptualize, and design a poster series for an organization or cause, with a visual system that can be applied to various advertising environments.

Concept
Mental health is a prevalent issue around the world, yet the resources and conversations around mental wellness and disorder, can still be scarce, and people continue to suffer in silence. The Mind Matters is a call to increase mental health resources for those in underserved communities, with solutions that range from the accessibility of connecting with mental health practitioners, to ensuring a variety of therapy practices.

Design
Conventional marketing for mental health issues can often feel clinical or austere in tone—I wanted to challenge this by designing advertising materials that would feel approachable, but still clear in its message. I wanted to make sure that the text would be easy to follow, a no frills design, which meant large eye-catching headlines accompanied by a visual focal point that is symbolic and familiar.
